Five new strategic promotions at our Manchester Studio

Chapman Taylor’s Manchester studio has made the following strategic promotions to further strengthen its leadership team and sector design expertise. Rachel Rogerson and Mark Doughty have been promoted to Directors with Loretta Collins, Simon Marlin, and Richard Daw being promoted to Associate Directors.

Group Board Director Tim Partington noted that “this is in line with our UK strategy to continue to diversify and strengthen our design expertise and management skills across all our studios. The range and depth of design skills these promotions bring in our Manchester studio, which celebrated its 20^th year in 2020, will enable us to continue to grow and expand the business here”.

Chapman Taylor’s Manchester studio has been involved in some of the best-known development projects in the UK over the past 20 years – from industry-leading retail destinations such as Trinity Leeds and Manchester Arndale to city centre residential projects and the extraordinary Media City digital and media destination at Salford Quays.

Tim Partington (BA (Hons), B Arch RIBA)

Tim has been an integral part of the Chapman Taylor team since 1986. Having served on the Group Board from 2006 to 2023, he has played an active role in shaping the strategic direction and growth of the business, working closely with his fellow directors and studio teams.

In 2000, Tim took on the challenge of establishing Chapman Taylor's Manchester studio which under his leadership has grown and developed into the successful and diverse architectural studio it is today.

With extensive expertise from early concept design through to project delivery, Tim has a proven track record of designing and delivering complex mixed-use developments both in the UK and abroad. His dedication to achieving exceptional design outcomes has earned him a reputation as a leader in his field.

Tim entra a far parte di Chapman Taylor dal 1986 e si unisce al Main Board nel 2006. In qualità di Direttore ricopre un ruolo attivo nella definizione della direzione strategica e della crescita del business insieme agli altri membri del Consiglio.

Tim ha contribuito alla creazione dello studio Chapman Taylor Manchester nel 2000 e continua a gestirlo: è inoltre responsabile del gruppo progettuale inglese, della pianificazione delle risorse e della strategia BIM/CAD.

Riconosciuto per la sua conoscenza di gestione del progetto, ha una comprovata esperienza nella progettazione e nella consegna di complessi multifunzionali sia nel Regno Unito che a livello internazionale.

Tim ist seit 1986 bei Chapman Taylor und trat dem LLP Main Board im Jahr 2006 bei. Als Eigentümer hat er mit anderen Vorstandsmitgliedern des Main Boards eine aktive Rolle bei der Gestaltung der strategischen Ausrichtung und des Wachstums des Unternehmens.

Er war verantwortlich für den Aufbau von Chapman Taylors Studio in Manchester im Jahr 2000 und leitet weiterhin diesen Teil des Geschäfts zusammen mit dem Designmanagement, der Ressourcenplanung und BIM/CAD-Strategie des GB-Geschäfts.

Anerkannt für seine Design-Management-Expertise, kann er eine Erfolgsbilanz bei der Entwicklung und Realisierung von komplexen Mischbebauungsvorhaben in Großbritannien und international vorweisen.
