3 Arlington Square in Bracknell shortlisted for a 2025 Mix Award North

Chapman Taylor is delighted to announce that 3 Arlington Square, Bracknell, has been shortlisted for the Mix Awards North 2025, celebrating design excellence from Northern designers in the UK and Ireland's commercial interiors sector.

Building on the success of Chapman Taylor’s earlier refurbishment at 1 Arlington Square, 3 Arlington Square marks the second Chapman Taylor office transformation within this thriving business park. The scheme reimagines the workplace environment by integrating outdoor sports and wellbeing amenities into a lush, green setting, diversifying from typical city-centre provisions that cater mainly to cyclists and runners.

Shortlisted for Project of the Year - Workplace Interiors - 5,000 to 15,000 sq ft.

The refurbishment delivers a revitalised ground floor, featuring a refreshed building entrance and reception area, alongside the creation of a new business lounge. This space opens onto a landscaped external courtyard complete with a padel court and a standalone gym pod, offering tenants a unique blend of work and recreation opportunities.

A careful material palette complements the existing buff brick façade, while bold patterns and dynamic forms contribute to a playful, engaging character that promotes activity and interaction. The transformation aligns with the internal courtyard concept at 1 Arlington Square, with amenities shared between the buildings to reinforce a connected, campus-style workplace that fosters community and wellbeing.

About the Mix Awards North

Organised by Mix Interiors, the Mix Awards North celebrates outstanding achievements in commercial interior design, architecture, furniture and product innovation across the region. The 2025 awards ceremony will take place at Manchester Central on 3 December 2025, bringing together leading designers, manufacturers and industry influencers from across the UK and Ireland.

We are proud to see these projects recognised for their design ambition and positive social impact, and look forward to celebrating with colleagues and industry peers at the event in December.
