Several senior Chapman Taylor delegates are attending the Completely Retail Marketplace & Revo Conference on 27th September at 1 Old Billingsgate Walk. We also have a speaking session about ‘Creating Vibrant Town Centres’, with senior architect Jonathan Jones.

Jonathan has expertise in the role of retail in mixed-use developments and the reconfiguration of existing retail places. He will be talking about how we can reposition assets to be relevant in the context of the cities in which they are located, including case studies.

Also attending the conference are directors Adrian Griffiths, Marcelina Zielinska, Daniel Morgans and Jonathan Fishlock, associate director Loretta Collins and senior architect Teresa Tirado.

Adrian entra a far parte di Chapman Taylor nel 1986 e si unisce al Main Board nel 1998. Come architetto e specialista in progettazione urbanistica, è conosciuto a livello internazionale per la sua esperienza nei masterplan di grandi complessi multi-funzionali, che sono i principali autori nella rigenerazione dei nostri centri urbani.

Nick joined Chapman Taylor’s London studio in 1999 and worked on the award-winning Princesshay, Exeter scheme before joining the UK concept design team.

He was jointly responsible for establishing Chapman Taylor’s Bristol studio in 2013 and as a UK Board Director is now responsible for the ongoing development and management of this part of the UK business. Nick also leads Chapman Taylor’s Sustainability Group responsible for researching best-practice environmental design initiatives and innovation.

He has 20 years’ experience spanning all project stages.

Daniel Morgans (BA (Hons) DipArch RIBA)

Associate Director, 伦敦

Daniel joined Chapman Taylor in 2017 as an Associate Director and works as a key member of our UK concept design team. A creative and innovative designer, he specialises in turning a client’s vision into a successful project.

Daniel has over 15 years’ experience as an architect in the UK and overseas, eight of these spent working in the luxury residential and hospitality sectors and on a number of sensitive urban and historical sites.

He also has experience in coordinating teams for large-scale mixed-use projects in the Middle East, Europe and CIS.

Loretta Collins (BA (Hons) DipArch MArch RIBA )

Associate Director, 曼彻斯特

Loretta joined Chapman Taylor in 2015 as a recently qualified architect and has since worked as senior project architect on the concept design stages of mixed-use, office, retail, urban regeneration, and asset enhancement projects both in the UK and Internationally.

Loretta is a key member of our Responsible Design Group’s knowledge expert team with a focus on Community and Social values. She is also an active member of Women in Property in the North West UK-branch where she regularly participates in events and study tours.

Loretta’s design experience crosses a variety of sectors including mixed-use town centre regeneration projects where her ability to use a variety of design-based and CAD software tools enables her to successfully manage and coordinate complex design projects.

Teresa Tirado (BSc MSc Arch MSc UD PG URP)

Senior Architect

Teresa has a passion for urban design and placemaking and champions the importance of nurturing the talent of the next generation of architects.

A valued member of the Bristol team, Teresa is a design-led architect whose skills and expertise cover a broad range of architectural areas and are focused on project design, masterplanning and asset enhancement/repurposing.

Teresa is also a teaching fellow in Architecture at the University of Bath and the University of the West of England, and a Part3 Professional Examiner.

Jonathan Jones (BEng (Hons) MArch)

Architect, 布里斯托

Jonathan joined Chapman Taylor in Bristol in 2013 as one of the first Architectural Assistants in the Bristol studio, working on the Castle Park View residential competition bid. He has since been involved on the early stages of schemes in Lancaster, Peterborough and Belfast and is now overseeing more detailed stages of schemes in Bristol and beyond, including office and mixed-use design.

Qualifying as an architect in December 2019, he completed his Part III studies at University of the West of England (UWE), having previously studied there for his Part II qualification and his bachelor's in Architecture and Environmental Engineering.

Jonathan has particular expertise in the concept design and feasibility stages of mixed-use proposals. His freehand drawing and concept designs have been extremely valuable to the development of the studio’s capabilities.
