Chapman Taylor will speak and participate in Bisnow's Build To Rent Annual Conference, which will take place from June 11 to 12 in Canary Wharf, London. The conference will bring together industry experts to discuss the future of build-to-rent (BtR) and explore strategies for raising capital, increasing deal flow, and staying ahead of the competition in the evolving BtR market.

Chapman Taylor will be speaking and participating in Bisnow's Build To Rent Annual Conference, taking place on 11th-12th June in Canary Wharf, London. The conference will bring together industry experts to discuss the future of build-to-rent (BtR) and explore strategies for raising capital, increasing deal flow, and staying ahead of the competition in the evolving BtR market.

Chapman Taylor will be well-represented at the conference, by Director Michael Swiszczowski giving a presentation on ‘Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx’. In addition, Chapman Taylor’s Head of Sustainability Alex Esfahani will join a panel discussion with Heads of sustainability from BtR developers.

Chapman Taylor will be represented by Nick Thursby, Director; Tom Klingholz, Director; Gerard Ellis, Associate Director; and Brisa Bellido, Senior Architect. This diverse team of professionals will be available to connect with attendees and share insights on BtR design and development.

The conference program will cover a wide range of topics relevant to the BtR sector. Some of the key themes include BtR in a new economic world, sustainable BtR practices, delivering resident value through customer experience, marketing, and operations, financing BtR deals and developments, the maintenance and refurbishment cycle of BtR schemes, the transformative power of smart technology, BtR and the 15-minute city, and future prospects for the BtR market.

Michael Swiszczowski (BA(Hons), MArch, ADPPA, ARB, RIBA)

Michael joined Chapman Taylor in 2016 to strengthen the practice’s residential expertise. A key member of the Manchester studio’s management team, Michael has a business development remit for the residential sector across the UK business.

He has experience working on award-winning residential projects with a particular focus on build-to-rent, student accommodation and modular construction.

He is a RIBA-elected member of the Regional Council for RIBA North West.

Alexander Esfahani (Bsc(Hons), MArch, PGDip ARB)

Alexander joined Chapman Taylor’s Manchester studio in 2016 as part of the Feasibility team, predominantly focusing on the Residential and Mixed-Use sectors.

He has extensive experience of both the feasibility and delivery stages, with recent projects including the delivery of Manchester Goods Yard office building.

Alexander is passionate about creative design and bringing the client’s vision to life. He has also been instrumental in further developing our sustainability strategy and R&D initiatives. As Manchester Studio Champion for Chapman Taylor’s Responsible Design Group, he coordinates and promotes environmental principles within the company.

Jonathan Harris (BA (Hons) Dip Arch)

Director, 布里斯托

Jonathan Harris joined Chapman Taylor’s Bristol studio in 2016 as as an Associate Director.

He is a member of our Residential Team and responsible for leading a number of key mixed-use regeneration projects in the Bristol studio.

Previously based in London, Jonathan has design experience working across a number of sectors including residential, education and commercial offices.

Daniel Morgans (BA (Hons) DipArch RIBA)

Daniel joined Chapman Taylor in 2017 as an Associate Director and works as a key member of our UK concept design team. A creative and innovative designer, he specialises in turning a client’s vision into a successful project.

Daniel has over 15 years’ experience as an architect in the UK and overseas, eight of these spent working in the luxury residential and hospitality sectors and on a number of sensitive urban and historical sites.

He also has experience in coordinating teams for large-scale mixed-use projects in the Middle East, Europe and CIS.

Brisa Bellido

Senior Architect

Brisa joined Chapman Taylor in 2019 as part of the Transportation team, gaining valuable experience in project delivery.

Since then, she has contributed to a diverse range of projects, including cinema and residential projects, before moving into her current role on a major office refurbishment project in central London.

Brisa's varied experience has allowed her to develop a well-rounded approach to architectural design and the delivery of projects across multiple building types.

Gerard Ellis (BSc(Hons) MArch PG Cert (Part 3))

Associate Director, 布里斯托 and 布里斯托

Since joining Chapman Taylor, Gerard has successfully led the Castle Park View scheme through the concept design and planning stages, securing consent for Bristol’s tallest residential building. He has particular expertise in early-stage concept and feasibility design, projects with heritage aspects and the planning stages on residential, office and mixed-use schemes. Gerard is a member of Chapman Taylor's in-house Residential, Office and Mixed-Use Sector Groups.
