Chapman Taylor will once again be in attendance at this year’s EXPO REAL event at the Messe München Exhibition Centre in Munich from 04-06 October.

EXPO REAL is Europe’s largest real estate fair, bringing together leading international businesses from across the sector, with more than 19,000 participants from 52 countries and nearly 1,200 exhibitors take part.

Over three days, the fair offers participants and exhibitors the opportunity to meet potential business partners for every stage of the real estate lifecycle from conception, investment, financing, realisation and marketing to operation and use.

Ruprecht Melder, Andrew Mackay, Hendrik Wirths, Husni Ayesh, Felix Dorl and Calina-Elena Griguta from Chapman Taylor’s Düsseldorf studio will be joined by Jon Hale and Filip Pokorny from our Prague studio. The team will be talking about Chapman Taylor’s diverse projects and expertise across Europe.

Chapman Taylor wird vom 04. bis 06. Oktober wieder auf der diesjährigen EXPO REAL auf dem Messegelände in München vertreten sein.

Die EXPO REAL ist mit über 19.000 erwarteten Teilnehmern und mehr als 1.900 Ausstellern aus 40 Ländern die größte B2B-Fachmesse in Europa. Drei Tage lang bietet die Messe Teilnehmern und Ausstellern die Möglichkeit, potenzielle Geschäftspartner für den gesamten Lebenszyklus einer Immobilie zu finden: von der Idee und der Konzeption über Investition und Finanzierung, Realisierung und Vermarktung bis hin zu Betrieb und Nutzung.

Vom Düsseldorfer Büro werden Ruprecht Melder, Andrew Mackay, Hendrik Wirths, Husni Ayesh, Kai Felix Dorl und Calina-Elena Griguta vor Ort sein und gemeinsam mit Jon Hale und Filip Pokorny aus dem Prager Büro über aktuelle Projekte und das Know-how von Chapman Taylor informieren.

Ruprecht Melder (Dipl. Ing. Architekt (Univ.))

Group Board Director, 杜塞尔多夫

Ruprecht joined Chapman Taylor in 1995 and is responsible for the design and delivery of retail, office and hospitality projects in our Düsseldorf studio. He became joint Managing Director in 2013 to support the growth of the business and continues to oversee project work in Germany and Austria.

He has successfully established the role of 'General planner' within the Düsseldorf studio and has an established track record leading general planner teams on large-scale projects.

Ruprecht ist seit 1995 bei Chapman Taylor und ist verantwortlich für die Konzeption und Durchführung von Einzelhandels-, Büro- und Mixed-Use-Projekten in unserem Büro in Düsseldorf.

Im Jahr 2008 wurde Ruprecht Melder als Prokurist Teil der Geschäftsführung und ist seit 2013 als Geschäftsführer für die Leitung und die Entwicklung des Düsseldorfer Standortes zuständig. 2021 wurde er in den Vorstand von Chapman Taylor berufen.

Ein weiterer Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt ist die des Generalplaners. Diesen Aufgabenbereich hat Ruprecht im deutschen Büro etabliert und hat sich als Leiter von Generalplanungs-Teams bei Großprojekten erfolgreich bewährt.

Andrew Mackay (Architect B.Arch. (Hons) B.PD)

Director, 杜塞尔多夫

Andrew joined Chapman Taylor’s Düsseldorf studio in 2007 and became an Associate Director in 2011. He leads the concept design team and has been responsible for some of the studio’s key projects in recent years, particularly in the mixed-use, masterplanning and retail sectors.

Prior to working at Chapman Taylor, Andrew has worked for practices in Australia, where he received his architectural degree, New Zealand, the UK, the Netherlands and Germany.

His wide-ranging design experience gained from working on different building types in different cultures and environments serves to strengthen Chapman Taylor’s Düsseldorf studio.

Andrew ist seit 2007 bei Chapman Taylor tätig, seit 2018 ist er Prokurist im Düsseldorfer Büro. Als Leiter des Entwurfsteams hat er in den vergangenen Jahren eine Vielzahl wegweisender Projekte realisiert und betreut aktuell eine große Bandbreite unterschiedlichster Bauvorhaben.

Vor seiner Tätigkeit bei Chapman Taylor arbeitete Andrew für Unternehmen in Australien - wo er seinen Abschluss in Architektur machte-, in Neuseeland, Großbritannien, den Niederlanden und Deutschland.

Seine weitreichenden Erfahrungen in allen Stufen der Gestaltung und Umsetzung verschiedener Gebäudetypen in verschiedenen Kulturen und Umgebungen stärken und bereichern das Düsseldorfer Büro.

Hendrik Wirths

Associate Director, 杜塞尔多夫

Hendrik finished his studies at Cologne University of Applied Sciences in 1998, becoming a qualified architect in 2001 and subsequently working in Lisbon, Bolzano and Cologne.  

Hendrik specialises in problem-solving throughout the planning and construction process – from the initial concept design through to all levels of planning and development, specification, bidding, site supervision and final acceptance. He is passionate about the need to foster collaborative working relationships between all of the parties involved in order to successfully complete a project.

His main focus is on residential construction, though he has experience in other fields, such as office and commercial buildings, childcare facilities and construction in existing contexts.

Hendrik joined Chapman Taylor Düsseldorf in 2017. As Project Manager, he leads the team for the office building development “Godesberger Allee” in Bonn and two residential projects in Bavaria. He also supports with personnel deployment planning.

Hendrik Wirths arbeitet seit 2017 als Projektleiter bei Chapman Taylor in Düsseldorf. Aktuell ist er für den Neubau eines Bürogebäudeensembles in Nürnberg sowie für Wohnungsbauprojekte mit insgesamt 350 Wohneinheiten verantwortlich.

Nach Beendigung seines Studiums sammelte er in Lissabon, Bozen und Köln umfangreiche Erfahrungen bei der Planung und Realisierung unterschiedlichster Bauaufgaben. Von der ersten Konzeptskizze bis zur Übergabe nach Fertigstellung arbeitete er dabei im gesamten Leistungsbild der HOAI.

Neben dem Schwerpunkt Wohnungsbau realisierte er Neu- und Umbauprojekte aus den Bereichen Büro, Handel und Kinderbetreuungseinrichtungen.

Calina-Elena Griguta

Architect

After completing her studies in Bucharest, Calina joined Chapman Taylor’s Düsseldorf studio in 2019 to work as an architect on residential and workplace projects.

She has since gone on to lead retail refurbishment projects, enabling her to pursue her passion for creating lively public spaces and revitalising city centres.

Calina speaks six languages and is an enthusiastic public speaker.

Jon Hale (BA (Hons)Dip Arch ARB, ČKA)

Group Board Director, 布拉格

Jon joined Chapman Taylor in London in 1997. He now heads up the Central Eastern Europe (CEE) region and leads the design and implementation of projects in the Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

Based in Prague since 1991, Jon’s knowledge of the CEE markets and his leadership has helped our Prague studio become one of the leading architects of commercial buildings in the region, winning ‘Architect of the Year’ at the CEE Retail Real Estate Awards every year since 2008 and many other accolades.

Filip Pokorny (Ph.D. in Urban planning and Brownfield regeneration)

Director, 布拉格

Filip joined Chapman Taylor’s Prague studio in 2007 and is responsible for the management of our key projects in Prague.

He has strong retail design skills, as well as specialist design skills in planning and regeneration. 

Balancing commercial and architectural insights, he has worked across all project stages from feasibility, planning and building permitting processes, through to on-site construction quality control.
