Chapman Taylor to Sponsor and Speak at the Footprint+ Conference in Brighton

Chapman Taylor is proud to announce its participation as a sponsor and keynote speaker at the highly anticipated Footprint+ Conference in Brighton. The conference, taking place from June 6th to 8th, 2023, is a gathering of stakeholders and experts from across the UK property market, dedicated to exploring cutting-edge strategies for achieving Net Zero in real estate.

As part of its commitment to sustainable design and construction, Chapman Taylor will be represented by Senior Architect Alexander Esfahani, who will chair the Keynote session titled "The Transition to a Circular Economy." This engaging session, co-presented with Dr. Jonathan Dewsbury, Chief Sustainability Officer at the Department of Education, delves into the risks and opportunities presented by transitioning to a circular economy within the construction industry. The discussion will focus on bringing this transition into reality and ensuring equity for all stakeholders.

"We are excited to contribute to the Footprint+ Conference and explore the critical topic of transitioning to a circular economy," said Alexander Esfahani, Senior Architect at Chapman Taylor. "By sharing our insights and collaborating with other industry experts, we can collectively drive sustainable solutions and pave the way for a more environmentally conscious future in the built environment."

Chapman Taylor's participation extends beyond the Keynote session, with several team members attending the conference to foster knowledge exchange and network with fellow professionals. Among the attendees are Jonathan Harris, Chris Moore, Eleanor Maclure, Marie Chaize, and Francisco Lizcano, all representing Chapman Taylor's commitment to sustainability and innovation.

The Footprint+ Conference provides a unique platform for face-to-face interactions on sustainable practices in the property sector, facilitating dynamic discussions and knowledge-sharing among participants.

"We believe that collaboration and dialogue are vital to driving meaningful change in the built environment," added Chapman Taylor's Responsible Design Group Leader and Director Jonathan Harris.
