A mall designed to appeal to a broad range of consumers

Azerbaijan’s largest shopping centre, Ganjlik Mall is a retail and leisure destination arranged around a dramatic four storey central atrium which floods all areas of the mall with daylight.

Appealing to a broad customer base, the mall is well located, north of the city centre, adjacent to the Tofiq Bahramov Football Stadium, with direct access from the busy Ganjlik metro and bus stations.

Innovative façade, canopy and lighting design

The façade of this 50,000m² GLA shopping and leisure destination on Fatali Khan Khoyski Boulevard is finished in an interlocking composition of warm sandstone cladding and cool glass, with limestone ‘bookends’ framing the corner entrances. An elegant, wing-shaped canopy unifies all the elements of the main elevation.

An innovative lighting scheme, including parametrically controlled external lighting linked to wind speed and direction monitors, has been developed by Lighting Design Collective.

Comprehensive leisure offering

Complementing the retail and F&B offering, the leisure attractions include a multiplex cinema, a bowling alley and a family entertainment centre.

External cafés and terraces offer city views

Among the mix of international and local retail brands is a range of cafés and restaurants on the upper level, with external terraces offering city views.

Interior features that enhance the customer experience

Feature chandeliers of handmade Czech glass by Lasvit are suspended within the double-height entry spaces.
