The Flow Building wins CEE/SEE “Best of the Best Office Development” at the CIJ Hall of Fame Awards

The Flow Building in Prague’s Wenceslas Square has won a CIJ CEE/SEE Hall of Fame Award in the “Best of the Best Office Development” category.

The CEE/SEE Hall of Fame Awards ceremony was the climax of the 2021 CIJ Awards series, bringing together national CIJ Award winners from several CEE/SEE countries to determine the very best projects in the whole region. The ceremony took place on 23 September at the Marriott Hotel in Central Prague as the culmination of the 2021 CEDEM Real Estate Conference.

The landmark Flow Building, designed by Chapman Taylor’s Prague studio for Flow East, is located on a prominent corner site in Wenceslas Square, which is part of the historic centre of Prague, a World Heritage Site famous for its traditional setting for demonstrations, celebrations and other public gatherings.

The building provides seven floors of prestigious office space, three levels of flagship retail and two basement levels of parking. The FLOW Zone community space on the roof provides all tenants with an attractive and relaxing space in which to work, socialise or recharge while taking in the stunning views over the city from the extensive terrace.

A core element of the project is the Flow Building’s emphasis on flexibility, sustainability and the wellbeing of occupants. The Flow Building was the first in the Czech Republic to achieve a BREEAM Outstanding certification, the highest BREEAM rating under the latest version of the BREEAM International New Construction scheme. Separate ’Outstanding’ certificates were awarded for both the office and retail components of the development.

The Flow Building’s promient position, unique architectural expression, public transport connectivity, and the emphasis on sustainability and wellbeing make it one of the most desirable locations in the city.

Congratulations to Flow East and everyone involved in the realisation of this beautiful landmark building on a well-deserved award. See http://www.theflowbuilding.cz/ for more information.
