NOI TechPark in Bolzano, Italy, shortlisted for an FX International Interior Design Award

NOI Techpark in Bolzano has been shortlisted for the FX International Interior Design Awards in the ‘Global project’ category.

The FX Awards, organised by FX magazine, is the leading award ceremony for the contract interior design industry. The awards are judged by a panel of 20 distinguished experts from the design industry, including designers, architects, engineers and clients.

The NOI (Nature of Innovation) Technology Park development involved the refurbishment of existing industrial buildings and the construction of a new building, called the ‘Black Monolith’, which creates an architectural bridge between the existing rationalist-style factory structures. The new complex is designed to house a wide range of innovation companies, research institutions and training centres.

Chapman Taylor’s Milan studio conceived and designed the new technology park in collaboration with local architects, Studio CL&AA. This striking project is carbon neutral and has LEED ND Gold sustainability certification.
