Kampus wins ‘Apartment Development of the Year' at the Insider North West Residential Property Awards 2022
Kampus in Manchester has won the ‘Apartment Development of the Year (more than 300 apartments)’ award at the Insider North West Residential Property Awards 2022.
Kampus is a joint venture development between Capital & Centric and HBD. It sits canal-side in an enviable location just a two-minute stroll from Piccadilly, Manchester’s main train station. Chapman Taylor’s Manchester studio took over the lead design role in 2016, following the completion of the concept design by others.
Insider’s North West Residential Property Awards recognise the outstanding achievements of people and businesses that have designed, developed, funded and continue to manage the built environment across the region. Compered by Matt Baker, the awards ceremony was held at Manchester Central on 28th April.
After the event, Director Michael Swiszczowski said, “It was possibly the strongest competition I've seen in these awards to date... but Kampus was a deserved winner. This kind of Build-to-Rent neighbourhood is unique in central Manchester and accessible to the wider community; it’s already creating a buzz in the area and feels very much a part of it already”.
