Final touches being made at Future Hotel in Chongqing, China

The highly anticipated hotel, part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, is approaching the final stages of construction. With the external work nearly complete and significant progress on the interiors, the hotel is on track for completion by the end of Q3 2024.

This state-of-the-art hotel will feature a wide range of facilities, including a banquet hall, a conference centre, a fitness centre, an art-themed all-day dining restaurant, and a Chinese restaurant. The hotel's design, with its hillside guestroom buildings, creates a visually discreet, undulating architectural skyline. This thoughtful arrangement complements the mountain ridge and ensures uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Buildings are placed on stepped terraces, following the natural terrain to maximise visual access to the stunning scenery, achieving a seamless blend of nature and architecture.

Chapman Taylor won a competition to design this innovative hotel.

The Future Hotel will blend the beauty of nature with cutting-edge technology, epitomising the essence of a smart hotel.

Design concept

Guests will experience an automated check-in service utilising AI facial recognition technology. Following check-in, a virtual "butler" will be assigned to guests, recording their preferences and guiding them via an automated shuttle to their rooms. This future-oriented development aims to serve business and conference guests, as well as tourists, providing a personalised experience in a smart, efficient, and healthy environment.
