Final stages of construction at Future Hotel in Chongqing, China
New photographs show that construction is progressing well on the Future Hotel for Curio Collection by Hilton in Chongqing, China. The building envelope is currently being installed and will be completed in October.
Facilities will include a banquet hall, a conference centre, a fitness centre, an art-themed all-day dining restaurant, and a Chinese restaurant. The hillside guestroom buildings will be visually discreet, forming an undulating architectural skyline that will complement the mountain ridge and ensure uninterrupted views to the lake and to the mountains. Buildings will be arranged on stepped terraces following the line of the terrain, which will maximise visual access to the beautiful scenery to achieve a sense of nature fully interacting with the buildings.
Chapman Taylor won a competition to design Future Hotel, a smart hotel for the Curio by Hilton brand. This future-orientated hotel blends beautiful nature with cutting-edge technology.
An automated check-in service will use AI facial recognition technology, while a virtual "butler" will be assigned to the guests after check-in, recording their preferences, and guiding them by an automated shuttle to the rooms.
The development, which will serve business and conference guests, as well as tourists, will provide visitors with a personalised experience and a smart, efficient, and healthy environment.
The development will be completed at the end of 2023.
