Chapman Taylor’s design concept for the interiors of a contemporary workspace in Ezdihar Park, Riyadh

Chapman Taylor’s Bangkok studio has created a design concept for the interiors of a new, contemporary three-level workspace in Ezdihar Park, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Good design often has a connection with the natural environment, and the concept narrative for this headquarters strongly references the local ecology and architectural traditions.

Embodying a modern luxury concept; geometric shapes are applied to the interior design element with hints of greenery to psychologically promote comfort and decrease stress, as well as improve productivity and communication.

To promote the sustainable values of the Ezdihar brand, materials are inspired by nature and include timber, leather and marble. The impressive double-height lobby includes a feature designed around a lush green oasis.

To create a balanced workplace environment a warm minimalist approach has been proposed, and noise will be reduced by using sound-insulating techniques. In addition to the open-plan workstation areas, there are also many collaborative spaces, waiting areas and meeting rooms. For phase 2, restrained luxury executive spaces have been designed, including executive lounges, a boardroom and the CEO office suite.
