Chapman Taylor unveils a comprehensive suite of Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) policies
Chapman Taylor has just released four newly developed policy documents, reinforcing our long-standing commitment to Responsible Design, and Sustainable business practices across all our design studios.
The new policies for Environmental, Social Value, Governance, and an overarching ESG Policy, serve as a robust framework for embedding sustainable, inclusive, and transparent practices into every facet of Chapman Taylor’s operations and project delivery.
Environmental Policy: Sets forth a bold carbon management strategy, including a commitment to reducing carbon emissions by 2030, driven by our Environmental Management System (EMS).
Social Value Policy: Outlines design practices that promote community impact, inclusion, and well-being, both within projects and studio culture.
Governance Policy: Reinforces accountability, transparency, and ethical leadership across all global operations.
ESG Policy: Summarises all three pillars to embed sustainability and ethical principles across all decision-making, projects, and partnerships.

“Embedding ESG principles into our design and business practices isn't just a strategic priority; it’s a moral imperative. These policies empower us to be better stewards of the built environment, ensuring our work leaves a positive legacy for future generations,” said Alexander Esfahani, Head of Sustainability at Chapman Taylor.
As part of Chapman Taylor’s continuous improvement ethos, these policies provide a clear roadmap for how each employee can help deliver on Chapman Taylor’s environmental and social responsibilities.
