Chapman Taylor to host Women in Property NextGen tour at Manchester’s Kampus Development

We’re delighted to announce that Director Rachel Rogerson will be leading a site tour of Manchester’s award-winning Kampus development as part of the Women in Property North West NextGen event series.

Taking place on Wednesday 6 August, the tour will offer early-career professionals a behind-the-scenes look at one of Manchester’s most exciting city-living destinations. Rachel will be joined by representatives from Native Communities and Exterior Architecture to share insights into the design, delivery and transformation of this landmark Build-to-Rent neighbourhood.

Developed by Capital & Centric and HBD, the £250 million Kampus scheme has reimagined a former Manchester Metropolitan University campus as a vibrant community, featuring over 500 Build-to-Rent apartments and a dynamic mix of independent retail, hospitality and leisure spaces.

This event forms part of Women in Property’s North West NextGen programme, which supports students, apprentices, graduates and those starting out in the property and construction industry. Designed to build networks and support professional development, the event reflects Chapman Taylor’s ongoing commitment to mentoring the next generation and promoting social value in the built environment.

The evening will conclude with drinks and pizza at Nell’s – a great opportunity to network in an informal setting.

🗓️ Date & Time: Wednesday 6 August, 5:30 – 7:30pm
📍 Meeting Point: Kampus Reception, 44 Aytoun Street, M1 3GL (next to Pollen Bakery)
🍕 After the tour: Pizza and drinks at Nell’s Pizza
