
Chapman Taylor to attend and speak at the National Urban Forum of Azerbaijan
The National Urban Forum of Azerbaijan (NUFA) will take place from 15 to 17 October in the cities of Baku, Shusha, and Khankendi. The Forum is organised by the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SCUPA) in cooperation with UN-Habitat.
Group Board Directors Adrian Griffiths and Marcelina Zielinska
Marcelina Zielinska has been invited to join the Opening Panel on heritage-sensitive masterplanning, where she will present the comprehensive process and detailed methodology used in the redevelopment of the Karabakh cities, with particular attention to preserving and carefully restoring their historical assets.
Adrian Griffiths will also be in attendance at the conference, an architect and urban designer who specialises in the design of complex urban environments.
This year’s Forum will address the theme of climate resilient and healthy cities, with a particular emphasis on sustainable urban development, post-conflict recovery, urban innovation, and the promotion of healthy living environments.
