Chapman Taylor has worldwide experience in designing transport-orientated developments (TODs), from smaller bus or railway stations and their immediate environments to large, multi-modal interchanges and the entire urban districts around them. We often work on complex, large-scale TOD developments within wider urban masterplans, although we have also designed mixed-use developments with integrated transport functions.

Airport City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Set to redefine mixed-use developments, Airport City adjacent to King Abdulaziz International Airport introduces a dynamic lifestyle hub spanning 1.91 million m². Divided into four zones, it offers diverse tourism, business opportunities, and family entertainment.
With a focus on seamless integration with the urban environment, this 520,000m² masterplan incorporates natural features and urban spaces, emphasising connectivity, and intuitive wayfinding.
Tianjin South Railway Station, Tianjin, China
Inspired by the heritage of Old Tianjin City, this project aims to transform the South Railway Station area into a regional transportation hub harmoniously blending people, culture, and nature.
Envisioning a green urban district, this masterplan strategically places amenities around Xiaoli Station and nearby Intercity Station, embodying the principles of 15-Minute Living.
Part of the wider development of the Yangtze River Delta, this 2,930-hectare masterplan integrates mixed-use elements with excellent connectivity and ecological sustainability.
