Chapman Taylor is proud to have signed the UK Armed Forces Covenant
We currently have two Armed Forces Reservists in the UK, and we are committed to supporting members of the Armed Forces community, including Reservists, Veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), Cadet Instructors, and military spouses/partners both within our workplace and beyond. We see value in our employees being reservists as it encourages leadership and management skills learnt in challenging environments.
As a Bronze Award holder our pledge reflects our values of good design, inclusion, respect, and social responsibility. Our current armed forces reservists include:
Daniel Morgans (Director, London Studio)
Daniel has served as a Royal Navy Reservist for over 30 years and currently holds the rank of Commander. He is the Chief of Staff for the Royal Navy Reserve Training Organisation, overseeing a team of approximately 100 personnel responsible for delivering training to a force of around 3,000. His previous service includes time aboard Minewarfare vessels and a separate role as an Analyst. In 2009, he was mobilised to Afghanistan, where he served as an Information Operations Officer. Daniel is based at his local unit, HMS President, in London.
Patrick Dempsey (Architectural Technologist, Bristol Studio)
Patrick has recently completed his initial naval training with the Royal Navy Reserve and has been promoted to Sub-Lieutenant. This training included two weeks of sea time aboard an Offshore Patrol Vessel and leadership development at Britannia Royal Naval College in Dartmouth, culminating in a full-day interview and assessment. He now hopes to join the Submarine Operations branch and is based at HMS Cambria in Cardiff.
We are proud to be an Armed Forces-friendly employer and welcome the unique skills and experiences that service personnel bring.
