Chapman Taylor Group Board Director Marcelina Zielińska will speak at the ARCHICA 2026 International Architecture Congress, taking place on 5–6 October 2026 in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Bringing together architects, urban planners, developers and industry leaders, ARCHICA provides a platform for discussion around the future of architecture, urban development and the built environment, with international and regional experts sharing their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing rapidly evolving cities.
Marcelina will contribute to two panel sessions across the two-day congress, exploring themes ranging from resilient urban development and identity to the changing role of the workplace.
On the first day, Marcelina will participate in the Plenary Session: “The Resilient Megacity: Balancing high-density development with identity preservation. The shift from mass-housing districts to polycentric urban networks.”
Taking place from 10:00–11:10, the keynote and panel session will examine how rapidly growing cities can accommodate higher-density development while retaining their distinctive identity and creating more diverse, connected and resilient urban environments.
On the second day, Marcelina will join the Workspace Syntax & Yield Optimisation interactive panel debate, taking place from 09:00–10:30.
Under the theme “The corporate hub as a social ecosystem: Designing spaces for collaboration, deep focus, and mental well-being. Enhancing employer branding through Architecture,” the discussion will explore the evolving role of workplace design and how architecture can support collaboration, concentration, wellbeing and organisational identity.
Marcelina’s participation reflects Chapman Taylor’s extensive international experience across masterplanning, mixed-use development, workplace and urban regeneration, as well as the practice’s growing portfolio across Kazakhstan and the wider Central Asian region.
ARCHICA 2026 provides an important opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas with architects, developers and built-environment professionals from across the region and internationally.
