Bring your budding young architects to Let’s Build London!

Save the date: Sunday 23 June!

Chapman Taylor has teamed up with Open City for the second year running to create a real town planning brief for you and your children to design and construct!

Young urbanists will be challenged to rebuild the area of London around the River Thames using only cardboard boxes and their imaginations for the 2019 Let’s Build London event.

Date: Sunday 23 June
Venue: Cabot Square, Canary Wharf
Time: 11am – 4pm (drop-in at any time)

Part of Open City’s annual Open House Families architectural festival, the ‘Let’s Build London’ event is exclusively for children and their families, and is designed to inspire the next generation of city-shapers. Last year’s event was a roaring success, with an excellent turnout by young designers and their older assistants.

Open City is a charity which promotes people-centred city design, organising year-round events to promote understanding of what makes for a people-friendly built environment. Volunteers are welcome, and those of you with children are encouraged to bring them along. The event is suitable for children (and the young-at-heart) aged 4+.

Please spread the word among your families and friends – it is a great opportunity to have fun while doing something worthwhile for the community.

We would be delighted to see you there.
