Four quarters, one neighbourhood

A residential-led, mixed-use scheme with a spectacular location on the coastline of the Marmara Sea, Büyükyalı is set to become one of Turkey's most exciting and highly sought-after new quarters.

A new vibrant, dynamic neighbourhood gracing the Marmara coast

Büyükyalı is designed to be an exciting and sustainable place to live for families, single people and young couples who wish to enjoy all the benefits of living in one of the world’s most exhilarating cities – including Kazlicesme Sahil Waterfront Park, a stunning new marina and access to the new Zeytinburnu metro line.

Creating a strong sense of community

Büyükyalı makes a clear division between public and private space - layering a broad range of uses and facilities, with 1,500 homes with prime sea views from all apartments, 15,000m² of public space with fashion, culture, art, music, kids clubs, a hotel, cafes and restaurants and new marina all playing a large part in the fabric of the scheme. A new mosque and school have also been incorporated.

Chapman Taylor designed the Masterplan, Concept Design, Scheme Design, Detailed Design and the Landscape Scheme Design.

New streets, squares, gardens, fountains and courtyards

Our masterplan concept juxtaposes hard and soft city spaces, creating streets, squares, alleyways, gardens and courtyards, all framed by contrasting contemporary and traditional architecture.

The luxury development is described as 'Four Quarters, One Neighbourhood'. The four quarters are: Garden community, Home office, Luxury quarter, Hotel and Branded Apartments.

Four main gates lead into the scheme with separate entrances and exits, yet all give access to one communal area, creating a brand new community site along the seafront.
