Three Chapman Taylor Projects Win at the Asia Pacific Property Awards
We are delighted to announce that three Chapman Taylor projects have won prestigious accolades at the 2025 Asia Pacific Property Awards, recognising excellence in design and innovation across the region.
The Almaty Museum of Arts has received two awards: Best Public Architecture in Kazakhstan and Best New Development in Kazakhstan. Set to open in summer 2025, the museum will be Central Asia’s first private institution dedicated to modern and contemporary art. Its distinctive architecture—two interlocking L-shaped forms clad in limestone and aluminium—symbolises the intersection of natural beauty and urban dynamism. The 9,400m² space will include permanent and temporary galleries, artist studios, experimental zones, and a vibrant public realm.
From our Shanghai studio, two projects also received top honours. The Healthcare Research Campus in Shanghai's Waigaoqiao Free Trade Area was awarded both the 5-Star Shanghai Best Office Architecture Award and the 5-Star China Best Office Architecture Award, the highest distinctions in its category. This 130,000m² campus is designed to foster innovation, with three north-south-oriented towers maximising natural light and integrating seamlessly with surrounding urban and green spaces.
The ZEEKR Headquarters in Hangzhou won for its innovative interior design. Based on the concept of “Superchain DNA,” the workplace blends cutting-edge aesthetics with functionality. Key design zones include the "Energy Laboratory"—where light, water, and wind shape the office experience—and the "ZEEKR Universe," a multifunctional ground level featuring exhibition areas, social spaces, and a futuristic admin centre.
Now in its 31st year, the Asia Pacific Property Awards—part of the International Property Awards—celebrate the region’s most outstanding achievements in architecture, interior design, property development, and real estate marketing. Judged by an independent panel of over 80 industry experts, the awards honour projects that demonstrate exceptional service, sustainability, and design innovation.
Congratulations to all our teams and collaborators involved in these remarkable projects.
