The major £150 million plans will see existing retail on the site redeveloped with a more comprehensive mixed-use development that will include new shops and new retailers, new public spaces, improved car parking, a new hotel, as well as private and student housing. It will also improve links to the High Street and the University of Lincoln.

Key changes include the provision of:

- up to 150 new residential units
- up to 1,100 new student residences
- a hotel of up to 130 rooms
- a car park of up to 1,100 spaces

The scheme will inject substantial new investment into the city and will create between 1,400 and 2,000 new jobs.

A formal planning application will be submitted in late Autumn.
