Chapman Taylor Group Board Director Michael Swiszczowski will be a panellist at the upcoming Coliving Conference 2025, taking place on 15–16 October in Barcelona, Spain.

Now in its third edition, the Coliving Conference, run by Coliving Ventures,  is the premier global event dedicated to the future of shared and community living. The two-day conference brings together over 300 international attendees and 40+ speakers, including leading developers, investors, designers, and operators shaping the evolution of this fast-growing sector.

Michael will join the session “Cohabitation in the Neighbourhood of Tomorrow” on 16 October from 14:15 to 15:00, exploring how coliving can act as a catalyst for urban regeneration and community resilience.

Session overview: Cohabitation in the neighbourhood of tomorrow

The discussion will focus on how shared living can foster mixed-use neighbourhoods, balance urban density, and enhance social infrastructure. Topics will include:

  • Coliving as an urban catalyst: strengthening the functionality and resilience of modern cities.

  • Neighbourhood activation: engaging local communities through public spaces, culture, and commerce.

  • Addressing urban loneliness: the role of socially curated environments in fostering belonging.

  • Designing for the 15-minute city: integrating proximity, walkability, and live–work–play ecosystems.

  • Case studies in urban regeneration: showcasing how coliving developments revitalise underused areas.

Speaking ahead of the event, Michael said: “Coliving has the potential to redefine how we live, connect, and engage with our surroundings. It represents a vital component of the future urban ecosystem, one that supports social cohesion, inclusivity, and sustainable growth. I’m looking forward to contributing to this important conversation in Barcelona.”
