Chapman Taylor’s Michael Swiszczowski appointed as a judge for RIBA North West Student Architecture Awards 2026
Chapman Taylor is delighted to announce that Group Board Director Michael Swiszczowski has been appointed as a judge for the inaugural RIBA North West Student Architecture Awards 2026, recognising the outstanding talent emerging from schools of architecture across the region.
Organised by the RIBA North West Practice and Education Group, the annual awards celebrate excellence in architectural education, showcasing the creativity, innovation and technical ability of students as they prepare to enter the profession. The awards provide an important platform for recognising future architects and the quality of architectural education within the North West.
Taking place on Friday 17 July 2026 at the Dalton Building, Chester Street, Manchester, M1 5GD, the free event begins at 5.30pm and brings together students, educators and industry professionals to celebrate the next generation of architectural talent.
As one of the judging panel, Michael will review projects from architecture students across the region, helping to identify work that demonstrates exceptional design thinking, technical excellence and a clear understanding of architecture's wider social and environmental responsibilities.
