Chapman Taylor’s Kamran Jumayev to speak at Zak World of Façades Tashkent 2026

Chapman Taylor Director Kamran Jumayev will speak at Zak World of Façades Uzbekistan in Tashkent on 24 September 2026, presenting the design thinking behind our Mirabad Square mixed-use development.

Kamran’s presentation, “The New Face of Tashkent: Designing Mirabad Square for the Next Generation,” will explore how the project responds to Tashkent’s evolving urban identity while creating a vibrant, contemporary mixed-use destination designed to international standards.

His presentation will focus on the creation of a walkable new community, alongside façade strategies inspired by Uzbek identity and the project’s approach to balancing placemaking, sustainability and commercial success.

Construction commenced on Mirabad Square in 2025. Designed by Chapman Taylor, the development is set to create a major new destination for Tashkent, bringing together a diverse mix of uses within a pedestrian-focused urban environment.

Zak World of Façades is an internationally recognised conference series dedicated to façade design and engineering. With more than 200 editions delivered worldwide and over 70,000 delegates across 50 countries, the series provides a global platform for architects, engineers, developers, contractors, consultants and specialists to exchange knowledge and explore the future of building envelope design.

The Tashkent event will mark the 228th edition globally and the second to be held in the Uzbek capital, bringing together leading industry specialists to discuss sustainable innovation, emerging technologies and the key challenges facing façade design and construction.

Alongside presentations from industry experts, the event will feature an exhibition showcasing the latest façade products, materials and technological solutions, as well as opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange.
