Chapman Taylor designs second MyCar Trade-In Hub for Kazakhstan

Chapman Taylor is designing a second MyCar Trade-In Hub for Kazakhstan. The venue will become Almaty’s premier used car marketplace.

The c.28,000m2 GBA development in Almaty, being designed on behalf of Astana Motors, includes a contemporary and striking architectural design with key visual focal points, helping to make the trade-in hub a very prominent and easily legible used car exchange venue.

The project includes a showroom, a hangar for storing cars, an office/welfare area on the mezzanine, a car servicing garage and bodyshop and abundant car parking.

The design creates an internal, extensively glazed showroom “street” which acts as the informal main circulation space and allows for intuitive wayfinding throughout the building.

The new MyCar Trade-In Hub concept has been created by Chapman Taylor for Astana Motors and is currently at Scheme Design stage. We previously designed an innovative MyCar Showroom for the same client at Nur-Sultan.
