Chapman Taylor-designed USCE Tower Two and Ashford Designer Outlet Extension win Pro+ Sustainability Awards

Chapman Taylor is proud to announce that USCE Tower Two in Belgrade and Ashford Designer Outlet Extension in the UK have received recognition as outstanding sustainably designed projects at the Architectural Society of Shanghai China (ASSC) Pro+ Awards. The prestigious awards celebrate innovative, sustainable, and responsibly designed projects.

USCE Tower Two - Best Workplace

USCE Tower Two, located in New Belgrade, clinched the ASSC Pro+ Award for Best Workplace. The building, situated in a prime city centre location, provides Class A office space within a beautifully landscaped park. The design aims to complement the existing Tower One while offering high-quality, modern office accommodation for forward-thinking companies seeking a sustainable development.

Featuring a double-height foyer, naturally lit lift lobbies, external balconies with panoramic views of the city centre, Danube, and Sava rivers, USCE Tower Two creates a dynamic and inviting workspace. The roof terrace, designed as a vibrant Food & Beverage destination, adds a touch of sophistication, making it an ideal space for office users and special events. The project's commitment to sustainability is reflected in its BREEAM Excellent rating, emphasising environmentally conscious design and energy efficiency.

Ashford Designer Outlet Extension - Gold Award for Best Façade

Chapman Taylor's design for the Ashford Designer Outlet Extension in Kent, UK, received the Gold Award in the Best Façade category. The extension enhances the existing designer outlet by adding 46 retail, leisure, and F&B units, along with a new events space and a children’s play area. Notably, it introduces a stunning 'living green wall,' the largest in Europe at 2155m², showcasing tens of thousands of vertically-stacked plants.

This living green wall not only contributes to the aesthetics of the outlet but also aligns with the region's identity as the 'Garden of England.' The extension, serving as a magnet for long-haul tourists and local shoppers alike, demonstrates Chapman Taylor's commitment to transformative design that is not only creative and successful but also sustainable.

Recognition from the Architectural Society of Shanghai China reaffirms Chapman Taylor's position as a leader in sustainable architecture, emphasising our dedication to delivering innovative and environmentally conscious designs that leave a lasting impact on communities worldwide.
