Chapman Taylor has been appointed to design The Strand, a major new mixed-use community unveiled by RAK Properties, set to play a key role in the continued growth of Ras Al Khaimah’s rapidly developing mainland.
Located within the Marjan Beach masterplan, The Strand is envisioned as a vibrant, residential-led destination that brings together contemporary living, retail, leisure, and public spaces in a highly connected, people-focused environment.
The masterplan will create a dynamic urban hub shaped by community insights, with a strong emphasis on walkability, wellbeing, and integration with its surroundings. Positioned close to a major public park, with direct connections to the Wynn Resort and nearby beach clubs and hotels, the development is set to become a key lifestyle destination within the emirate.
Spanning a significant site within one of the UAE’s fastest-growing real estate markets, The Strand reflects increasing demand for high-quality, mixed-use communities that combine residential, cultural, and commercial uses into a cohesive place.
Chapman Taylor’s design approach will focus on delivering a distinctive and future-ready destination, one that balances urban energy with coastal character, while supporting long-term growth and investment in Ras Al Khaimah.
