BEO Shopping Centre commended at the European Council of Shopping Places (ECSP) Awards 2023

BEO Shopping Centre, a prominent retail destination in Belgrade, has received high commendation at the prestigious European Council of Shopping Places (ECSP) Award 2023 in the "New Development" category. This recognition reaffirms BEO Shopping Centre's position as a leading retail and leisure destination in the region.

With a diverse commercial mix featuring over 130 global and regional brands, a hypermarket, a multiplex cinema, and a wide selection of restaurants and cafés, BEO Shopping Centre offers a comprehensive shopping experience. The centre is complemented by a state-of-the-art underground car park, accommodating up to 1,200 vehicles.

The architectural design of the centre, characterised by an inviting exterior and bright interiors flooded with natural light, creates a pleasant and welcoming environment for visitors. Generous malls and open spaces further enhance the overall experience. Notably, the leisure component of BEO Shopping Centre stands out with its unique rooftop food court, terraces, 13 restaurants, and an 8-screen multiplex cinema, impressing visitors with its variety and quality. The centre boasts an impressive occupancy rate of nearly 100%, and last year alone, it welcomed 5.5 million visitors.

Chapman Taylor's Düsseldorf studio played a pivotal role in creating the Concept and Scheme Designs for the project on behalf of MPC Properties and Atterbury Europe. Additionally, the Madrid studio contributed key elements to the interior design, further enhancing the overall aesthetic and functionality of the centre.

The European Council of Shopping Places (ECSP) Awards, established in 1977, have long been regarded as the premier accolades for recognising excellence in shopping places across Europe. The high commendation received by BEO Shopping Centre highlights its exceptional standards and outstanding contributions to the retail landscape.
