Graphic Designer (Fixed-Term Contract)
Chapman Taylor, a globally recognised practice of award-winning architects, masterplanners, and interior designers with a presence in 15 design studios worldwide, including three in the UK, is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a fixed-term contract for a minimum of 10 Months, and will be based at our Manchester studio. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a creative and dynamic studio environment. As a member of our UK Graphics Team, you will provide graphic design support to our team, working on projects in the UK and internationally.
Job Description:
- You will work closely with one of our experienced graphic designers in the Manchester studio
- Create and develop artwork for a variety of materials, for electronic and print format, including brochures, catalogues, presentations, public exhibition boards, bid documents, requests for proposals, project design reports, and more.
- With support, take ownership and responsibility for projects from the initial brief to final delivery.
Skills and Requirements:
- Enthusiasm and a willingness to work as part of a team to produce high quality work
- A portfolio showcasing inspiring, creatively driven work highlighting conceptual thinking and robust visual design skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for layout and typography.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to confidently present ideas.
- Excellent time-management skills, enabling you to work under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Capable of working independently, with appropriate supervision and as part of a team to deliver innovative and creative print and digital projects from concept to final execution.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- A bachelor's degree in graphic design.
Software Requirements:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Platform: PC
