The Gardens of Gran Plaza 2 in Majadahonda open after renovation

Majadahonda's Gran Plaza 2 shopping centre has unveiled its newly renovated "Los Jardines de Gran Plaza 2" area, offering a vibrant blend of leisure, dining, and outdoor spaces. With a wide selection of commercial offerings, including nine indoor restaurants, three restaurant kiosks, and two outdoor restaurants boasting spacious terraces, visitors can enjoy a variety of culinary experiences. Among the featured establishments are Rodilla, Urban Poke, Harry, Starbucks, Santa Gloria, Casa Carmen, Udon, Taco Bell, Gagawa, and Puro Ego, creating a diverse gastronomic offer within Gran Plaza 2.

A 90-square-meter playroom space has also been added with a captivating Jungle theme, providing a dedicated area for children's entertainment. Outdoor play areas, such as a pirate ship and a climbing wall, have been added to further enhance the family-friendly atmosphere. Moreover, the renovation includes water features such as an interactive fountain, a vertical waterfall, and a centerpiece fountain in the interior dining area, emphasising the integration of nature. The design also encompasses a secret and vertical garden, adorned with various natural plant species.

Designed by Chapman Taylor London and Madrid Studios, the project at Gran Plaza 2 takes into consideration the preferences and needs of families who frequent the shopping centre. Alongside the enhanced dining options, "Los Jardines de Gran Plaza 2" will host a wide array of cultural, leisure, and entertainment events. Since June 2023, visitors can experience live music performances, themed nights, and other exciting activities. Additionally, Odeón Multicines, the cinema operator, will open six state-of-the-art cinemas within the shopping centre in September 2023.

The revamped leisure, restaurant, and outdoor spaces of Gran Plaza 2 aim to position the shopping centre as the ultimate summer destination, providing an unparalleled experience for all audiences.

With its diverse retail and leisure offer, family-friendly amenities, and upcoming cinema facilities, the shopping centre continues to solidify its position as a leading destination in Majadahonda.
