Phase 2 construction of Pinea Resort, Poland, is now fully underway
Phase 2 construction of Pinea Resort, in the Baltic city of Pobierowo, Poland, is now fully underway, as our new film demonstrates.
The 55,000m2 GBA PINEA Resort complex consists of three main buildings containing 175 private apartments, a 156-key, 4-Star Hilton Garden Inn hotel and a 150-room condo-hotel with an associated spa, swimming pool, physio rooms, saunas and sports facilities (c.1,000m2).
The diaphragm wall works, carried out by leading deep foundation specialist subcontractors, German Keller, are now finished. The scope of works covered over 7000m2 foundation slabs designated for all 3 buildings within Phase 2.
Design Concept
500 mm thick and 18m deep walls were constructed using grabs to create a narrow trench excavation into the ground, for the apartment and swimming pool complex, sauna and physiotherapy rooms and 375-space carpark.
The expected opening date for phase 2 is June 2023 and the Phase 3 exchange permit documentation is on the way.
