MeadowSide’s ‘The Gate and The Stile’ shortlisted for North West Residential Property Award

The Insider North West Residential Property Awards 2023 shortlist has now been announced, with the winners to be revealed on Thursday, 26 January 2023 at a black-tie awards dinner at Manchester Central.

Far East Consortium International has been shortlisted for The Gate and The Stile, Manchester, in the Apartment Development of the Year (more than 100 homes) category. Chapman Taylor was appointed as Executive Architect to deliver these two residential towers as part of the MeadowSide development, located at the northern gateway to Manchester city centre, close to the city’s creative heart, best bars and independent shops.

An independent panel of experts was assembled by Insider to judge all the entries in order to determine the shortlists and the eventual winners. Launched in 2016, the awards bring together the people and businesses that have designed, developed, funded, built and continue to manage the built environment and recognise their outstanding achievements.

The 22-storey Gate and 17-Storey Stile buildings provide a total of 286 apartments including one, two, and three-bedroom homes with rooftop penthouses in both buildings. Crisply detailed glazed facades sit above a more solidly expressed base which accommodates amenity facilities for the residents including a boutique lobby, concierge, shared workspace, gym, residents’ lounge, and external terrace overlooking the historically important Angel Meadow parkland.
