Director Michael Swiszczowski to speak at Focus on Framing seminar in London on 29 January

Chapman Taylor Director Michael Swiszczowski will be speaking at the Focus on Framing seminar at London’s Building Centre on 29 January.

The event, hosted by the Light Steel Frame Association, will bring together manufacturers and clients from the light steel frame industry. Light steel frame technology is an important tool in off-site construction, used on a variety of building types, as well as in traditional construction.

Holiday Inn Express, Trafford

Michael will speak about the use of lightweight steel systems on Chapman Taylor projects in the hospitality sector, including the pioneering Holiday Inn Express modular hotel project, the recently approved Hotel Indigo at Coventry Friargate, early designs for a Moxy hotel and also a Courtyard by Marriott.

Michael has experience working on award-winning residential and hospitality projects, with a particular focus on Build-to-Rent, student accommodation, hotels, serviced apartments and modular construction.

Michael joined Chapman Taylor in 2016 to strengthen the practice’s residential expertise. He joined the UK Board in 2022 and continues to take an active role in developing the practice’s residential and hospitality sectors across the UK business.

He has experience working on award-winning residential projects, with a particular focus on Build-to-Rent, student accommodation, hotels, serviced apartments and modular construction.

Michael is a regular speaker at residential and property conferences where he articulates Chapman Taylor’s design approach and skill sets. He is also a RIBA-elected member of the Regional Council for RIBA North West.
