Construction of Bahía Real retail and leisure park set to begin at Maliaño, northern Spain

The construction of the new Bahía Real retail and leisure park in Maliaño, northern Spain, will begin in April.

Located next to Valle Real shopping centre in Cros, close to Seve Ballesteros Airport and five minutes from Santander, the 20,000m2 GLA scheme will be home to 20 retail and leisure offers which vary between 300m2 and 3,300m2 in area.

Bahía Real will include a nine-screen cinema, family entertainment, e-sports, online gaming rooms and restaurants, served by 750 parking spaces.

The new commercial park is already 60% let, with brands such as Mercadona, Kiwoko, Milbby and OCINE taking space there.

It is anticipated that Bahía Real, which is being designed by Chapman Taylor, will open in the last quarter of 2020.
