Chapman Taylor's delegates will be in attendance at the 2024 BCO Conference at The International Convention Centre in Birmingham between the 22-24 May, and it would be great to connect with you there.

The 2024 conference in Birmingham will serve as a gathering of BCO's diverse members and industry thought leaders, all working towards shaping the future of offices. It aims to provide valuable insights and knowledge to occupiers, investors, developers, designers, constructors, and suppliers, empowering them to create inspiring workspaces that promote a healthy and sustainable work environment. Moreover, it recognises the vital role of the office sector in supporting resilient and dynamic cities.

Mark Doughty (BA(Hons), BArch, ADPPA, ARB, RIBA)

Director, UK

Mark joined Chapman Taylor in 2006, becoming a Director in 2022. A key member of the Manchester studio’s management team, Mark has a leading role in the workplace sector across the UK business.

He has over 15 years of experience and has successfully completed a number of major award-winning projects working both in the UK and internationally.

Mark joined Chapman Taylor in 2006 becoming an Associate Director in 2016. A key member of the Manchester studio’s management team, Mark has a business development remit for the office workplace sector across the UK business.

He has over 10 years’ experience and has successfully completed a number of major award winning projects across a range of sectors.

He takes an active part in the BCO and completed last year’s Cycle Challenge riding from London to Amsterdam over four days with fifty members of the BCO.

Andrew Carroll

Director, UK

Since joining Chapman Taylor in 2002, Andy has led the design and delivery of major projects across a range of sectors including mixed-use, office, residential, hospitality, retail and leisure.

Andy is a core member of the Manchester Studio leadership team. As a UK Board Director, he oversees our workplace and design delivery services and contributes to defining and implementing our core values across the UK.

Gavin King

Director, UK

Gavin joined Chapman Taylor in 2021 to help reinforce and expand our capability in the workplace sector, in which he has more than 25 years of award-winning experience working as an Interior Designer with global clients, government agencies, academia and professional services organisations.

Having worked on projects with a diverse range of well-known clients, Gavin has extensive experience in leading multidisciplinary teams and is frequently invited to contribute to roundtable discussions and networking events. He is able to quickly build strong relationships with clients and end-users and excels at briefing and engagement.

Gavin passionately believes in working with clients and collaboratively including them in the design process, and he has a keen interest in how design can support business change, believing there is a need to focus on delivering economically successful projects that support clients in their business objectives.

Daniel Morgans (BA (Hons) DipArch RIBA)

Associate Director, UK

Daniel joined Chapman Taylor in 2017 as an Associate Director and works as a key member of our UK concept design team. A creative and innovative designer, he specialises in turning a client’s vision into a successful project.

Daniel has over 15 years’ experience as an architect in the UK and overseas, eight of these spent working in the luxury residential and hospitality sectors and on a number of sensitive urban and historical sites.

He also has experience in coordinating teams for large-scale mixed-use projects in the Middle East, Europe and CIS.

Anja Haubold (BA(Hons) Dip Arch)

Associate Director, UK and Bristol

Anja has over 20 years’ experience of designing and delivering major regeneration projects across a range of our core sectors. She has particular expertise in the technical design of mixed-use and commercial schemes, managing the design team through the detailed design, procurement and construction stages of a project.

Kirsty Barr (BA(Hons) Interior Architecture and Design)

Interior Designer

Kirsty has worked on a variety of UK and international projects since joining Chapman Taylor, from initial concept to detail design and delivery across a range of sectors. Kirsty is a creative interior designer with a particular passion for workplace design and is an active member of the BCO NextGen group.
