Chapman Taylor’s Graphics team shortlisted for three MyWW In-House Design Awards
Chapman Taylor has been shortlisted in three categories for the 2018 MyWW In-House Design Awards.
Our Graphics team has been nominated in the “Best Internal Rebrand/Brand Development” and “Impact on the Overall Business” categories for its transformation of Chapman Taylor's company branding, as well as in the “Best Example of External Collaboration” category for its work with the One Darnley Road creative agency in designing the chapmantaylor.com website.
The three award nominations are a well-deserved recognition of the team’s creative talent and collaborative ethos. The awards ceremony, the UK’s only in-house design awards event, will take place on 7 November in London.
Led by Head of Graphics Edyta Sipta, our team of highly experienced graphic designers provides Chapman Taylor with tailored branding and communication solutions to complement the company’s architectural and interior design services.
Our website, logo and branding was redesigned by the team in 2017, to an excellent critical reception. Our designers produced a contemporary and imaginative logo for us in the form of a distinctive, multi-faceted polyhedron shape based upon a 3-D model of our global network’s locations. A new corporate typeface combined with the new logo to create a dynamic visual identity for our company.
The improved web design is clearer, with easier navigation and simpler functionality, while each of our diverse sectors of operation was colour-coded for easy distinction. The Graphics team helped develop the site structure and navigation, designed the individual pages and created the artwork and digital assets.
The result has been an entirely new and distinctive brand identity which celebrates the diversity of our projects and people and respects our long heritage. The new look now graces not just our digital material, but also our design studio interiors, stationery, brochures, presentations, and marketing materials.
The team also offers our clients first-class design services for their own needs, including all aspects of brand development, visual identity and implementation. Its work in signage and wayfinding also benefits from close collaboration with our architects and interior designers, allowing designs to be integrated with a project from the start.
For example, the Graphics team created the brand identity for the leading Russian property investment company FortGroup, transforming the way in which the real estate giant presents itself to the world. Following the success of the project, the team has worked with FortGroup on a number of brand identity designs and websites for several of their architectural schemes. The Graphics team continues to provide a range of high-quality services to a number of our other clients.
