Launched in August 2025, the forum brings together a diverse group of leading professionals in the built environment to provide independent expert advice on major development proposals. The initiative aims to ensure that new projects in Salford meet the highest design and environmental standards, contributing positively to the city’s continued transformation.

Catalina brings a wealth of experience in mixed-use, residential, and urban regeneration schemes, and her appointment reflects both her individual talent and Chapman Taylor’s commitment to shaping high-quality, sustainable environments that serve people and communities.

“It’s an honour to contribute to the future of Salford’s built environment,” Catalina said. “Design has a vital role to play in creating places that are not only functional, but also inclusive, inspiring, and resilient.”

Congratulations to Catalina on this well-deserved recognition. Chapman Taylor look forward to supporting her in this important role.
