Chapman Taylor to exhibit at Polis Convention 2025 in Düsseldorf, 7–8 May

Chapman Taylor is pleased to announce its participation in the upcoming Polis Convention 2025, taking place from 7–8 May at the Areal Böhler in Düsseldorf. As one of Germany’s premier trade fairs for urban and project development, the event brings together thought leaders and key stakeholders dedicated to shaping the cities of tomorrow.

Ruprecht Melder (Dipl Ing Architekt (Univ))

Group Board Director, Düsseldorf

Ruprecht is responsible for leading the design and delivery of major workplace, retail, and mixed-use projects in our Düsseldorf studio.

He has established the role of 'General Planner' within the Düsseldorf studio and has successfully led General Planner teams on several large-scale projects and is dedicated to delivering high-quality architecture to our clients.

Ruprecht joined Chapman Taylor in 1995. After joining the Düsseldorf management board as a Prokurist in 2008, he became joint Managing Director in 2013 to support the growth of our German business and continues to oversee project work in Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Slovenia. He joined the Group Board in 2021.

Ruprecht ist seit 1995 bei Chapman Taylor und ist verantwortlich für die Konzeption und Durchführung von Einzelhandels-, Büro- und Mixed-Use-Projekten in unserem Büro in Düsseldorf.

Im Jahr 2008 wurde Ruprecht Melder als Prokurist Teil der Geschäftsführung und ist seit 2013 als Geschäftsführer für die Leitung und die Entwicklung des Düsseldorfer Standortes zuständig. 2021 wurde er in den Vorstand von Chapman Taylor berufen.

Ein weiterer Tätigkeitsschwerpunkt ist die des Generalplaners. Diesen Aufgabenbereich hat Ruprecht im deutschen Büro etabliert und hat sich als Leiter von Generalplanungs-Teams bei Großprojekten erfolgreich bewährt.

Hendrik Wirths

Director, Düsseldorf

Hendrik specialises in problem-solving throughout the planning and construction process, from the initial concept design through to all levels of planning and development, specification, bidding, site supervision and final acceptance.

He is passionate about the need to foster collaborative working relationships between all of the parties involved in order to successfully complete a project.

Hendrik finished his studies at Cologne University of Applied Sciences in 1998, becoming a qualified architect in 2001 and subsequently working in Lisbon, Bolzano and Cologne. Hendrik joined Chapman Taylor's Düsseldorf studio in 2017.

Hendrik Wirths arbeitet seit 2017 als Projektleiter bei Chapman Taylor in Düsseldorf. Aktuell ist er für den Neubau eines Bürogebäudeensembles in Nürnberg sowie für Wohnungsbauprojekte mit insgesamt 350 Wohneinheiten verantwortlich.

Nach Beendigung seines Studiums sammelte er in Lissabon, Bozen und Köln umfangreiche Erfahrungen bei der Planung und Realisierung unterschiedlichster Bauaufgaben. Von der ersten Konzeptskizze bis zur Übergabe nach Fertigstellung arbeitete er dabei im gesamten Leistungsbild der HOAI.

Neben dem Schwerpunkt Wohnungsbau realisierte er Neu- und Umbauprojekte aus den Bereichen Büro, Handel und Kinderbetreuungseinrichtungen.

Natalie Meiners

Associate Director, Düsseldorf

Since joining Chapman Taylor in 2002 Natalie has worked on many varied projects including the Multiplex Cinema at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier and was responsible for the design of City Plaza Wuppertal.

Natalie enjoyed much success at Chapman Taylor’s Studio in Düsseldorf as Architect and Head of Interior Design and led the interior team on the refurbishment at Flair Fürth.

Natalie was promoted to Associate Director of our Düsseldorf studio in 2022.

Natalie hat ihr Studium an der RWTH Aachen erfolgreich absolviert und ist seit 2002 bei Chapman Taylor in Düsseldorf tätig.

Sie hat ein gutes Gespür für Design und Graphik und etablierte sich schnell als eine der führenden und leitenden Entwurfsarchitekten bei Chapman Taylor. Seitdem war sie an vielen unterschiedlichen Projekten, die das Büro realisiert hat, mitbeteiligt. Darunter der Entwurf für das City Plaza in Wuppertal.

Natalie war als Architektin und Leiterin des Interior Design Teams für die Umgestaltung des Innenraums im Flair Fürth und die Interior Planung des Multiplex-Kino im Westfield Hamburg Überseequartier verantwortlich.

Natalie ist seit 2022 Associate Direktor bei Chapman Taylor in Düsseldorf.

Witold Kondera

Associate Director, Düsseldorf

Witold has considerable experience in architectural design and has spearheaded numerous retail and mixed-use projects of significant scale.

Witold's extensive background includes leading architectural departments at several large development companies. As Head of Design in his previous roles, Witold demonstrated exceptional design leadership and expertise and delivered many successful projects. His wealth of knowledge and experience in retail and office projects enriches the Dusseldorf team but also the wider Chapman Taylor Group. Originally from Poland, Witold speaks German, English, and Polish. He joined Chapman Taylor’s Dusseldorf studio as an Associate Director in April 2024.

Leenete Tazhicherry (Dipl -Ing Architektin BArch (Hons))

Associate Director, Düsseldorf

Among several major projects she has worked on in recent years, Leenete developed the detailed design for the façade at Plaza Grafinger Strasse in Munich, subsequently leading project teams on the new-build shopping centre Salzach Forum in Burghausen and the revitalisation of Krohnstieg Centre in Hamburg.

Leenete studied at Newcastle University in the UK and at RWTH Aachen University in Germany, graduating in 2005 and 2007 respectively, before beginning her career in London, where she gained extensive experience in the residential sector. She led design teams on construction and delivery projects before joining Chapman Taylor’s Düsseldorf studio in 2015.

She has also been a key figure in rolling out revised CAD standards within the Düsseldorf studio and helping to streamline data structures.

Leenete hat an der Newcastle University in Großbritannien und an der RWTH Aachen in Deutschland studiert. Nachdem sie ihr Studium im Jahr 2005 bzw. 2007 erfolgreich abgeschlossen hatte, begann sie ihre Karriere in London, wo sie weitreichende Erfahrung im Bereich Wohnungsbau sammeln konnte. Sie leitete Entwurfsteams in der Ausführungsplanung, bevor sie 2015 zu Chapman Taylor in Düsseldorf kam.

Leenete entwickelte die Detailplanung für die Fassade des Plaza Grafinger Strasse in München und leitete danach Projektteams für den Neubau des Einkaufszentrums Salzach Forum in Burghausen und die Revitalisierung des Krohnstiegzentrums in Hamburg.

Sie hatte zudem eine Schlüsselrolle in der Entwicklung neuer CAD-Standards und der Rationalisierung der Datenstrukturen im Düsseldorfer Büro.

Seit 2018 ist sie Associate Director in unserem Düsseldorfer Büro.

Kai Felix Dorl (AKNW Dipl. – Ing. (FH))

Architect

Kai Felix Dorl has worked at Chapman Taylor in Düsseldorf since 2020. He has over 20 years of experience, most of which he gained in other European countries outside of Germany.

He worked for many years as a project manager in several internationally renowned offices, focusing on design development through to implementation planning. His creative sense and excellent technical understanding helped him successfully bring to life initial conceptual design ideas.

Felix is passionate about sustainable design, particularly in connection with timber construction.

Kai Felix Dorl ist seit 2020 bei Chapman Taylor in Düsseldorf tätig. Seine über 20-jährige Erfahrung sammelte er zu einem großen Teil im europäischen Ausland.

Dabei arbeitete er viele Jahre in international renommierten Büros in der Projektleitung für verschiedenste Großprojekte mit den Schwerpunkten der Entwurfsentwicklung bis zur Ausführungsplanung. Sein gestalterisches Gespür zusammen mit seinem ausgeprägten technischen Verständnis garantieren die Verwirklichung des ersten konzeptionellen Entwurfsgedankens.

Bei Chapman Taylor liegt ein Fokus seiner Tätigkeit in der nachhaltigen Gestaltung in Verbindung mit Holzbaukonstruktionen.
