Chapman Taylor to attend UKREiiF – the UK’s Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum, 16th to 18th May

Chapman Taylor is pleased to announce that it will be attending the UK Real Estate Investment & Infrastructure Forum (UKREIIF), one of the UK's leading events for real estate investors, developers, and infrastructure experts. The event will take place from May 16th to 18th, 2023, at the Royal Armouries Leeds & Leeds Dock, Leeds.

The UKREIIF provides a platform for industry leaders to discuss the latest trends and opportunities in real estate investment and infrastructure, including new development projects, policy changes, and market insights. Chapman Taylor's attendance at the event reflects the firm's commitment to staying at the forefront of industry developments. The firm will also use the opportunity to network with other industry professionals and explore potential collaborations and partnerships.

Chapman Taylor has also been nominated for Architect of the Year at the UKREiiF Festival of Achievement Awards. The winners will be announced at the "Festival of Achievement" at Millennium Square in Leeds on the first evening of the event on Tuesday the 16th May 2023 from 6pm.

More than 6,000 attendees will be attending UKREiiF, a three-day event that will bring together the public sector – with every core UK city and region involved – alongside government, investors, funders, developers and housebuilders. Its remit is to connect people, places and businesses whilst unlocking sustainable, inclusive and transformational investment across the UK.

Andrew Carroll

Director, UK

Since joining Chapman Taylor in 2002, Andy has led the design and delivery of major projects across a range of sectors including mixed-use, office, residential, hospitality, retail and leisure.

Andy is a core member of the Manchester Studio leadership team. As a UK Board Director, he oversees our workplace and design delivery services and contributes to defining and implementing our core values across the UK.

Marcelina Zielinska (MSC Arch and Urb Des, RIBA, FRSA)

Director, UK

Marcelina has extensive experience of all design stages on a diverse range of projects of various scales, from individual buildings to large urban masterplans.

She has a particular passion for high street regeneration, with a talent for anticipating future trends in retail and leisure and the impact they will have on town centres. Her current projects include heritage-sensitive masterplans for historic city centres.

As an architect and urban designer, Marcelina understands the importance of placemaking and of combining uses to create socially, commercially and environmentally sustainable communities, both in the UK and internationally.

Marcelina has been with Chapman Taylor since March 2007, when she joined the company to help deliver St. David’s 2 in Cardiff. Marcelina was promoted to the UK Board in 2023.

Daniel Morgans (BA (Hons) DipArch RIBA)

Associate Director, UK

Daniel joined Chapman Taylor in 2017 as an Associate Director and works as a key member of our UK concept design team. A creative and innovative designer, he specialises in turning a client’s vision into a successful project.

Daniel has over 15 years’ experience as an architect in the UK and overseas, eight of these spent working in the luxury residential and hospitality sectors and on a number of sensitive urban and historical sites.

He also has experience in coordinating teams for large-scale mixed-use projects in the Middle East, Europe and CIS.

Rebecca Ridge (Bsc(Hons) MArch PGDip)

Rebecca is an accomplished Project Architect with a wealth of experience in the residential sector. She has excellent technical design skills and leadership. She has delivered schemes from concept to completion, with a particular interest in the re-use of existing buildings.

Gerard Ellis (BSc(Hons) MArch PG Cert (Part 3))

Associate Director, UK and Bristol

Since joining Chapman Taylor, Gerard has successfully led the Castle Park View scheme through the concept design and planning stages. He has particular expertise in early-stage concept and feasibility design, projects with heritage aspects and the planning stages on residential, office and mixed-use schemes. Gerard is a member of Chapman Taylor's in-house Residential, Office and Mixed-Use Sector Groups.

Loretta Collins (BA (Hons) DipArch MArch RIBA )

Associate Director, UK

Loretta joined Chapman Taylor in 2015 and works on the concept design stages of mixed-use, office, retail, urban regeneration, and asset enhancement projects both in the UK and Internationally.

Loretta is a key member of our Responsible Design Group’s knowledge expert team with a focus on Community and Social values. She is also an active member of Women in Property in the North West UK-branch where she regularly participates in events and study tours.

Loretta’s design experience crosses a variety of sectors including mixed-use town centre regeneration projects where her ability to use a variety of design-based and CAD software tools enables her to successfully manage and coordinate complex design projects.

Richard Daw (BA(Hons), DipArch, ARB, RIBA)

Associate Director, UK

Richard joined Chapman Taylor in 2021 with a particular focus on helping to grow Chapman Taylor’s residential design capability in Manchester. Richard brings a unique perspective to holistic living and workplace trends thanks to his former experience in managing a flexible workspace start-up.

Richard is highly experienced in several sectors, including residential, workplace, retail and education projects, and is skilled at blending the different uses in mixed-use projects. He is well placed to offer our clients a unique view on the growing Build-to-Rent sector from both an architectural and management perspective.
