Retail: Chapman Taylor design proposed expansion to Didcot’s Orchard Centre in Oxfordshire

We have submitted our designs for the proposed expansion to South Oxfordshire’s shopping destination in Didcot.

The extension to the popular retail location in Didcot is part of a significant investment by current owners Hammerson and it is hoped

that the development will help build on the success of the current shopping centre and bring growth and investment into the town.

Chapman Taylor’s design will add 150,000 sq ft of shopping and leisure space to the existing Orchard Centre which opened in 2005. It includes

an M&S Simply Food, six new cafes and restaurants, a gym , extra car parking and new landscaped amenity space.

The proposals are due to goes to the planning committee on July 30th.
