Avon Street Student Accommodation Development progressing well on site

Our Bristol studio visited our project at Avon Street, Bristol, this morning (June 10th, 2025) to check in on construction progress. The project is a 447-bed purpose-built student accommodation development.

A big thank you to GMI Construction Group for the warm welcome and informative tour. It was great to see the scheme taking shape!

The distinctive architecture of the buildings, which references the area's industrial past and the nearby historic railway buildings and structures, will provide a readily identifiable landmark for passengers travelling in and out of Temple Meads station. The buildings will vary from eight to 12 storeys in height, with a standalone two-storey mixed-use hub to the harbourside.

Avon Street, designed for Tiger Developments, is located directly opposite the new Bristol University Enterprise Campus.

The project is due for completion in Summer 2026 and is already making excellent progress on site.
