Alberto Muñoz promoted to Associate Director

Chapman Taylor is delighted to announce the promotion of Alberto Muñoz to Associate Director.

Based in the Madrid studio, Alberto joined Chapman Taylor in 2017 and has played an important role in the delivery and coordination of projects across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America. During his time with Chapman Taylor, he has developed extensive experience across all stages of the design process, from masterplanning and concept design through to detailed design and project delivery.

Alberto has contributed to a diverse portfolio of mixed-use, hospitality, residential, retail and workplace projects, combining strong design leadership with a collaborative and people-focused approach. In addition to his project work, Alberto co-leads the Madrid studio's internal Design Forum, actively contributes to business development, coordinates the Concept Design team, and is a valued member of Chapman Taylor's global NextGen initiative.

Throughout his career with Chapman Taylor, Alberto has demonstrated a commitment to design excellence, teamwork and innovation. His international experience, creative thinking and ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, together with his contribution to design leadership and team development within the Madrid studio, have made him a key member of both the local and wider practice.

This promotion recognises Alberto's significant contribution to Chapman Taylor's continued success and reflects the leadership role he plays in shaping projects, supporting clients, and mentoring future talent.

Alberto joined Chapman Taylor's in 2017 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2026. Alberto has developed his design and coordination skills working on projects across all design stages from masterplans to concept design, scheme design, detailed design, interior design, and graphic design.

Alberto has worked on and coordinated projects in a number of countries such as Spain, Portugal, and the MENA region. He is responsible for the Madrid Studio’s inhouse Design Forum and he also participates actively in the business development team.
