Interior Designer – Junior/Graduate (Manchester)

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a motivated and creative Graduate/Junior Interior Designer to join our dynamic design team in Manchester. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for interior architecture, spatial design, and detailing. You will support the design team in delivering innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling interiors across a variety of projects.

  • Assist in the preparation of design concepts & presentations.
  • Support senior designers in developing interior layouts, material specifications, and furniture schedules.
  • Contribute to 2D drawings, 3D models, and rendered visuals for client presentations.
  • Research materials, finishes, furniture, and fittings to support design decisions.
  • Help coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Maintain and update project documentation in line with office standards.
  • Attend site visits, surveys, and design reviews under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Stay informed on design trends, sustainability standards, and innovations in interior architecture.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in design and drafting software required with knowledge of Revit, in particular, an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Visualisation software (e.g. Enscape, SketchUp)
  • Proficiency in InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite) required
  • Strong eye for detail, colour, and materiality.
  • Ability to produce creative sample presentations.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
