Sustainability: First historic building in Rome to gain both LEED and BREEAM certification


Our project GOITO58 in Rome, designed by Chapman Taylor Milan, has gained both LEED and BREEAM Certificates. 

This careful renovation project of the 19th century historic building into modern offices is the first historic building to be awarded of both certifications.

The building, now owned by Triuva Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, is located near Termini station in Rome and consists of a basement, a ground floor and five floors above ground. The building was remodelled to ensure flexible space planning and adheres to the highest standards, using the latest technology.The atrium was retained to maximise the sustainability of the building. It has achieved Gold LEED Certification and BREEAM Very Good status.
