Over the past 20 years, what was an underused industrial site has been transformed and rejuvenated with new streets, squares and parks, homes, shops, offices, galleries, bars, restaurants and amenity spaces.

Laing O’Rourke appointed Chapman Taylor as Design Delivery architect to complete the detailed design from RIBA Stage 4. The technical design embraced an innovative approach to DfMA, including off-site manufacturing and precast solutions for façade, structure and internal elements. This approach helped to achieve the sustainablity targets for the project.

Chapman Taylor worked collaboratively with the Related Argent team and their architect, Allies and Morrison, who were retained as client design monitor, to develop the technical design to realise the vision for the scheme.
Chapman Taylor was appointed as executive architect by Laing O’Rourke.
