3 Arlington Square shortlisted for BCO South of England & South Wales Award

Chapman Taylor is delighted to announce that 3 Arlington Square, Bracknell has been shortlisted for a BCO South of England & South Wales Award 2026 in the category Projects up to 2,500m², recognising excellence in workplace design across the region.

Building on the success of Chapman Taylor’s earlier refurbishment at 1 Arlington Square, this latest transformation marks the second completed project by the practice within the thriving business park. The scheme reimagines the workplace environment by embedding outdoor sport and wellbeing amenities within a verdant campus setting, moving beyond typical city-centre provisions that often focus solely on cycling or running facilities.

The refurbishment revitalises the ground floor with a renewed building entrance and reception, alongside the introduction of a new business lounge. This space opens onto a landscaped courtyard featuring a padel court and standalone gym pod, offering tenants a distinctive blend of work, wellbeing and social interaction.

A carefully considered material palette complements the existing buff brick façade, while bold patterns and expressive forms introduce a playful, engaging character that encourages activity and connection. The design aligns with the courtyard concept introduced at 1 Arlington Square, with amenities shared across the buildings to strengthen the sense of a cohesive, campus-style workplace community.

The BCO South of England & South Wales Awards ceremony will take place on 14 May 2026 at We The Curious in Bristol, bringing together industry peers to celebrate the region’s most outstanding office projects.

We are proud to see 3 Arlington Square recognised for its design ambition and positive social impact, and look forward to celebrating with colleagues and partners at the awards
