A Skytrain-inspired journey through Google’s Bangkok workspace

Chapman Taylor was commissioned to design the interiors for an extension of Google’s office space in Bangkok’s Park Ventures Ecoplex Building. The concept theme for the interiors was a journey through the city on the Bangkok BTS Skytrain, travelling through spaces to the café and the park, a relaxed and nature-inspired space for employees.

Neon signs and BTS motifs bring the city into the office

Chapman Taylor’s Graphics Team also designed the interior graphics and signage for the offices, which were designed to reflect the concept. Neon signs were installed in the interiors spaces and office entrance, and the signage concept for the meeting rooms which was based on the station signs for the Bangkok BTS.

City-inspired visuals with a personal, local touch

For the meeting rooms themselves, wall graphics were developed in the style of the BTS transport network maps. The team also developed prints for acoustic panels and worked with a local photographer to create a piece of wall art for the space.
