Chapman Taylor wins Asia Pacific Property Award for Dolmen Mall Lahore

Chapman Taylor is proud to announce that the practice has received an award in the Retail Architecture – Pakistan category at the 2026–2027 Asia Pacific Property & Hotel Awards for its design of Dolmen Mall Lahore.

Designed for Dolmen Group, Dolmen Mall Lahore is a 75,000 m² shopping and leisure destination that sets a new benchmark for retail environments in Pakistan. The scheme brings together high-end international and local brands, a hypermarket, cafés, restaurants and themed food streets, alongside family leisure attractions including the Sindbad amusement park, creating a vibrant, all-day destination for the city.

Architecturally, the design blends regional identity with contemporary expression. Traditional geometric patterns are integrated into glazed façades, while a distinctive wave-like roof canopy highlights entrances and creates a memorable architectural presence. The four-level centre, supported by two basement parking levels for 2,000 vehicles, is strategically located within Lahore’s Defence Housing Authority district with strong connectivity to the wider city.

The award recognises Chapman Taylor’s commitment to creating well-designed, commercially successful, culturally resonant retail destinations that support economic growth and enhance the visitor experience. Dolmen Mall Lahore has already become a key urban hub for retail, dining and entertainment, helping to attract visitors from across the region and contributing to the local economy.
